Owhanake Bay Estate offers luxury boutique accommodation overlooking the
beautiful secluded Owhanake Bay on Waiheke Island in New Zealand.
It is a short walk to the beach below the estate. We are proud of our
sustainable approach to our operations.
Owhanake Bay Estate is the perfect retreat escape from a busy life. We
have deliberately priced to be very good value and affordable to New
Zealanders while maintaining high standards. We have found that many of
our overseas guests choose to stay at the end of their New Zealand
holiday to relax and take a breath before the homeward journey. We also
specialise in romantic stays.
Our peaceful grounds include an olive grove, large private berry garden,
orchard, extensive New Zealand native tree plantings and a working
vineyard producing our own wines under our own label - yet we are
located just two minutes drive from the Matiatia ferry terminal. It is
an easy walk to sandy Oneroa Beach and Village.
We believe it is the small things that matter most - so you can expect
comfort, friendly and helpful hosts, seamless service, and Waiheke at
your fingertips.

has also well and truly exceeded our expectations. The balance between
homely and inviting and private is perfect. We especially enjoyed all
the extra little things and attention to detail. Every effort has been
made to anticipate everything we need. The home baking was a wonderful
touch. We particularly enjoyed the eco-friendly nature of the estate and
how every effort has been made to ensure things are organic. We also
enjoyed the personal service - nothing was a problem and Mike and
